* InfoConnect Enterprise Edition 9.x continues to be supported on Windows 7 and 8, but Micro Focus has no plans to support InfoConnect Enterprise Edition on Windows 10. For organizations moving to Windows 10 in production environments, we recommend upgrading from InfoConnect Enterprise Edition 9.x to InfoConnect Desktop 16.

** InfoConnect Enterprise Edition 9.4 will install and run on Windows XP-32 bit. We do not provide support for InfoConnect Enterprise Edition 9.4 on Windows XP. We do offer an extended support plan option for older product versions and unsupported operating systems. Note the following:

  • Using InfoConnect in multi-user mode requires one of the following applications (and adherence to the terms of the license agreement):
    • Windows Server 2012, 2008 or 2003 Windows Terminal Services
    • Citrix MetaFrame XP Presentation Server, Feature Release 2 or higher
  • ActivClient smart card authentication using PKCS#11 requires ActivClient CAC version 6.2.0.

Using InfoConnect Help

To view the legacy InfoConnect Help on Windows 8.1, Windows 8, Windows 7, Windows Vista, or Windows Server 2008, you must install the Windows Help program (WinHlp32.exe), which is available for download from the Microsoft web site. For more information, see Technical Note 2294. Note: Beginning with Windows Server 2012, WinHlp32.exe is not available, so legacy Help is not supported.
