You may receive the following error when attempting to install EXTRA! on Microsoft Windows 2003 Server x64: "The application failed to initialize properly." This technical note includes the specific error and solution.
Symptoms
When installing EXTRA! on Microsoft Windows 2003 Server x64 you may receive the error "The application failed to initialize properly (0xc0000005). Click on OK to terminate the application."
Solution
This issue has been resolved in EXTRA! X-treme 9.0.
