This technical note lists the product enhancements in Reflection for the Web 2008.
Reflection for the Web 2008 includes the following new features:
Standard Edition, Enterprise Edition, Unisys Edition, Airlines Edition, and Airlines Edition with Printing are available.
Note that the documentation for all editions is the same; some of the documented features may not be available in your edition. For more information about these new editions, see Technical Note 2321.
Within UTS and ALC emulations and in Airlines Printer, airlines transports using protocols such as MATIP, Airlines Gateway, SABRE IP, Lantern, Apollo, SHARES, and PEPGate are available.
Users can make local copies of sessions and customize them, sort them, and group them according to their own preferences.
Most emulation types can be configured for a fixed font size independent of window size scaling. Other changes have been made to improve the display of text in emulation sessions.
Copy Table support is available, and IBM emulators now support masking of protected fields when pasting. New Edit menu commands are available, and the behavior of some copy operations is configurable.
You can now save, review, and re-execute IND$FILE transfer requests.
You can map a mouse click to launch a browser session based on URL string (such as http://www.attachmate.com) within the terminal window.
Support for picking from a color range for cursor color, ruler color, and all terminal screen elements (applies to all emulations except T27).
The macro recorder can be configured to save a usable screen description for each step of the macro, allowing the macro to identify host screens more accurately during playback.
You can select a crosshair, horizontal or vertical ruler.
You can play back macros you have recorded in other sessions of the same terminal type.
The terminal display is now readable by screen readers such as JAWS. For more information about the JAWS accessibility features, see Technical Note 2333.
Ease of management for customers using intermediate certificates.
