Summary
Users receive the following errors when entering data into an EXTRA display session: "Microsoft Visual C++ Runtime Library. Runtime error! Program: [path]EXTRA.EXE. Abnormal program termination" or "SC3: EXTRA! X-treme: EXTRA.exe - Application Error: The instruction at "0x6C371351" referenced memory at "0x0000004". "The memory could not be 'read'. "Click on OK to terminate the program." When these errors occur, the user may also see Microsoft Word documents opening in the background.
Resolving "Microsoft Visual C++ Runtime Library" Error
This issue has been resolved in EXTRA! X-treme version 8.0 Service Pack 1 or higher. If you have upgraded to version 8.0 SP1 or higher and are still seeing this error (when entering data into an EXTRA! display session), please contact Attachmate Technical Support.
