Summary
Users receiving the following error when using the "net stop ptrservice" command to stop the Print and Transaction Router (PTR): "PTRSrvc.exe - Application Error. Instruction at '0x01eb3d86' referenced memory at '0x00000000'. Memory could not be 'read'."
To bypass this error and stop the PTR, follow these steps.
- Click Start > Control Panel > Administrative Tools > Services.
- Select the PTR service, PTRSrvc.exe, and then click Action > Stop.
