Summary

Attachmate offers four Windows-based terminal emulation product families (Reflection 2011, Reflection 14.x, EXTRA! X-treme 9.x, and INFOConnect Enterprise Edition 9.x). This technical note provides general guidance on which product is appropriate for your environment.

Windows Emulation Products

Reflection 2011 (and its predecessors, Reflection 2008 and Reflection 2007) is Attachmate's next-generation emulation product line for the newest Windows platforms and .NET architecture. EXTRA!, Reflection 14.x, and INFOConnect are appropriate for many Windows platforms and technologies that remain in common use today.

For the best product performance and user experience, use the following table to help determine which product family is appropriate for your particular workstation and host environments.
