After using PuTTYgen to generate a public key, the key may not work correctly with F-Secure SSH Server for Windows. This technical note explains how to resolve this problem.
If you are unable to use a public key generated by PuTTYgen, view the server's debug log and look for an entry similar to the following:
1936:Ssh2AuthPubKeyServer: unable to read the administrator's public key C:\Documents and Settings/administrator/.ssh2/mykey.pubIf the "unable to read administrator's public key" entry is present in your server debug log, use one of the following methods to resolve this problem.
