Summary
When performing an administrative installation of a Reflection 12.0 Windows-based product, if the installation path contains spaces you will get the error: "Reflection 12.0 cannot install one of its required products. Contact your technical support group." This technical note provides a workaround for this problem.
Workaround
To avoid this error, use one of the following methods:
- Modify the path to the Reflection administrative installation folder so that the path and folder name do not contain spaces. Once Reflection has been successfully installed, you can modify the path to once again include spaces.
- Install Reflection to a different location, without spaces in the path or folder name. Once Reflection has been successfully installed, copy the installation to the location that includes spaces.
Note: The administrative installation can be done locally and then copied to a network location.
