Projects built with Verastream Web Builder version 5.5 are designed for use with Microsoft Visual Studio 2003 and Microsoft .NET Framework version 1.1. This technical note describes the symptoms you may experience with Visual Studio 2005 and .NET Framework version 2.0, and explains how you can migrate your project for use with these newer technologies.
After successfully building your project in Web Builder, you may encounter one of the following problem symptoms with Microsoft Visual Studio 2005:
To resolve this issue, upgrade to Verastream Host Integrator version 6.0. For more information on upgrading, see Technical Note 40031.
If you are unable to upgrade to version 6.0, use the following steps to convert the version 5.5 project for use with Microsoft Visual Studio 2005 and .NET Framework version 2.0:
C:\Program Files\VHI\projects\<projectname>\solution\<projectname>.slnImportant Note: If you re-build the project with Web Builder, you must subsequently repeat the conversion process and will lose any project changes made in the Visual Studio development environment. If the Verastream model file changes significantly (such as procedure input or output parameters), consider manually editing the project in Visual Studio instead of re-building with Web Builder.
