Symptoms

Error: "Error 401 occurred while accessing the following URL: http:<ip address> Unauthorized"

Error occurs when doing remote control to agent through NetWizard interface

Browser show Done in the status bar when not using NetWizard interface to connect

Unable to connect using NTLM with RemotelyAnywhere using IP address in URL

Able to connect with NTLM with RemotelyAnywhere using NetBios name in URL

Cause

Proxy server may be set up to block certain addresses.

Fix

Add in any web addresses that should not be accessed through the proxy server.

1. Open the browser and select Tools, Internet Options.

2. On Connections tab, click "LAN Settings".

3. Under Proxy server, check the box "Use a proxy server for your LAN (These settings will not apply to dial-up or VPN connections)."

4. Click the "Advanced" tab.

5. In the "Exceptions" area, enter the IP addresses. Example: 160.155.60.*

Wildcards are allowed. Use a semicolon to separate entries. For further information, refer to the Help in the Proxy Settings window.
