Install User Files to My Documents

Symptoms

Files in Remote Schemes/Settings Directory are Automatically Copied to the My Documents Directory (User File Data Loc)

Goal

Do not propogate Scheme files to a user's My Documents directory

Fix

Use the Custom Installation Wizard (CustomInstallationWizard.exe). In panel 9, deselect the checkbox to "Install default user data files".Additional Information... Contrary to the checkbox's verbiage, the default Scheme and User files will be installed during the application installation routine. Specifically, the files are installed to the application directory. Schemes are installed to the default Schemes folder ( [Install Dir]\Schemes\ENU ). What this checkbox option really does is inhibit the copy process that occurs when a user launches EXTRA! for the first time. Specifically, any default User files (which include Schemes, Macros, Sessions, etc.) will not get copied (propogated) to that user's My Documents directory.
