Goal

Set the Value for Remote Control "Show Taskbar Icon" after the Agent has been Installed

Fix

The RemotelyAnywhere Taskbar Icon configuration can be set by performing the following steps:

1. Open a browser to "http://< Host Name>:2000"
2. Logon to RemotelyAnywhere as an administrator (Login only, do not remote control)
3. Select the "Configuration" applet
4. Select the "Desktop Icon and Remote Control Notification"
5. Set the "Show RemotelyAnywhere Icon in the System Tray*"
6. Select "Update configuration"

In order to affect all agents/Managers:

1. Using the NetWizard Package Editor create a package that will change the following registry key:
HKLM\Software\RemotelyAnywhere\
Value Name:  RAGuiShowIcon
Value Data: 0
Value Type: DWORD
2. Distribute the package to all users you wish to affect.
