Symptoms

Error: "This application has failed to start because KEAABOUT.dll was not found. Re-installing the application may fix this problem."

Error: "XAppMgr.exe - Unable To Locate Component"

Error occurs when trying to start XAppMgr.exe from command line

Fix

To resolve this problem, add the path to KEAABOUT.DLL to the PATH variable in Windows.

KEAABOUT.DLL is a DLL used by KEA! trace, and is located under C:\Program Files\Common Files\Attachmate Shared.
